¹In internal tests, ALK checked and routed three batches of 30 retirement benefit applications in about 19 minutes per batch (38 seconds per application). A pension fund administrator's documented process standard is 30 minutes to review one application, or 15 hours for 30. Covers checking and routing; a person still decides on files ALK flags. Speed varies with document type, volume and setup.
